December 2002 Mature Metrobuses Lincolnshire Road Car has reduced the age profile of its fleet by purchasing a batch of 20 year old Metrobuses from Travel West Midlands.   Their  787 (POG587Y) is seen in Lincoln in August 2002.  Durham Travel Services recently went into administration.   With immediate effect their London subsidiary Easylink was ordered to surrender the (185) route.   As a consequence several unusual operators have been called upon to provide assistance.   Arriva Original London Sightseeing Tours MB659 (KYV659X) is seen arriving at Victoria on a glorious September day in 2002. First Manchester 5172 (ANA172Y) had a fight with a tin of tomato soup and lost.   It is seen in Oldham bus station in August 2002. McKindless B297WUL, a former Arriva vehicle, leaves Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow in April 2002.   It is in competition with First Glasgow to Kirkintilloch. First Edinburgh 831 (ULS620X) , from Balfron depot, leaves Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow on a tendered service to Kirkintilloch in April 2002.
