| On the bonnie,
bonnie banks of Loch Lomond lies the paddle steamer Maid of the Loch (below
left). Moored at Balloch pier in the shadow of Ben Lomond (above),
the steamer is currently undergoing restoration work. The aim
is to return the vessel to her glory days (below right) when she
plied the loch with tourists in the summer. |
